IFCA Women Forum

IFCA Women’s Forum (Indian Federation of Chef’s Association) is an initiative which strives to increase visibility of women chefs within the country and in International platforms.It endeavours to support them in their efforts to advance their careers while balancing work and family.IFCA Women’s forum initiative was initiated under the guidance of Chef Manjit Singh Gill and Chef Soundarajan along with Chef Manisha Bhasin at 5th IFCA Chefs Congress held in Bangalore in 2012.

IFCA Junior Forum

IFCA’s Young Chef’s Forum has been established with the focus of building a stronger lineage of chefs for tomorrow, with greater focus on substantial achievements that can positively impact the Culinary Industry as a whole even as the individual chef is empowered to make the right choices & decisions Young Chef’s Forum will enable an engaging communication between Junior Chefs and senior Chefs of IFCA, facilitating transfer of knowledge and skills whilst providing a strong foundation that will enable IFCA to be more effective in addressing Junior Chef issues as the Association moves forward.

CA

Chefs Guild Of India aims to develop the culinary professional and promote culinary tourism across all state borders, cities & towns. The association is focused on expanding the knowledge barriers of space and hopes to achieve a united industry focused on the greater challenges of the hospitality Industry.

ICF

The Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) was formed at New Delhi in 1987 as an exclusive non-profit association of and for members of the culinary profession across the nation. The forum?s objective is to act as a link, a platform, a useful and necessary instrument for the national community of chefs.

SICA

The South India Culinary Association (SICA) is a fraternity of culinary professionals, representing the finest hotels, restaurants and culinary institutions in South India. SICA was founded in August 1998 in Chennai by chefs from reputed hotels. It is an independent, apolitical, voluntary and non-profitable body of culinary professionals from varied backgrounds and specialties.

WICA

The Western India Culinary Association (WICA), a body of professional chefs was formed in 2002 after the need for such an association was realised in the wake of several failed attempts to start one. The primary aim of the association is to provide a platform for chefs to interact with one another, away from the work environment. The youth wing, Y-WICA, includes student members as well as entry-level employees. The objective is also to encourage the chef’s profession among students of various hotel management and catering institutes, promote Indian cuisine domestically as well as overseas and thus, place India on the culinary map of the world.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
